Wedding Weekend Schedule
Three days of celebration at Secrets Bahia Mita Surf & Spa Resort, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
We've planned a full weekend of festivities so you can celebrate with us, relax in paradise, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Below is the schedule for the weekend — more details will be shared closer to the date.
Day One
Welcome Party

Guest Arrivals & Check-Ins
Check in to Secrets Bahia Mita and settle into your room.
Welcome Party
This event is a fun cocktail party setting for us to greet our guests. Feel free to wear your favorite resort chic attire. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvres in addition to an open bar. Come say hello, eat, and get henna applied too. We can't wait to see you!
Evening at Leisure
Continue the celebration at the resort bar or enjoy a stroll along the beach under the stars.
Day Two
Hindu Wedding Day
Friday, June 11, 2027
Morning at Leisure
Enjoy the resort — swim, relax on the beach, or indulge at the spa before the big celebration.
Baraat
Join Riken for this celebratory wedding procession where he, his family, and his friends dance and sing their way to the wedding venue.
Hindu Wedding Ceremony
We will exchange vows in an oceanfront ceremony as the sun begins its descent over Banderas Bay. Traditional Indian attire is encouraged for our Hindu wedding ceremony! If you’d love to wear a saree, lehenga, salwar kameez, or kurta, please do—we would love to see you in it. Western formal attire is also completely welcome. We want everyone to feel comfortable and look fabulous. Hindu weddings are rich, multi-layered celebrations filled with ancient symbolism, music, and community. This ceremony will be held outdoors and will last approximately 2 hours.
Dinner
Dinner will take place immediately following the Hindu ceremony. Gujurati weddings are strictly vegetarian. We will have a variety of Indian dishes and a selection of vegetarian pastas. Alcohol will not be served at this dinner.
After Party
The party continues! Join us at the resort bar for late-night dancing and drinks.
Day Three
Christian Wedding Day
Saturday, June 12, 2027
Christian Wedding Ceremony
Join us as we exchange vows in a Christian wedding ceremony, celebrating our love and commitment before family and friends. The ceremony will be held at the resort with breathtaking floral views as our backdrop. The attire is: DRESS TO IMPRESS. This event is black tie. Blend your high-end glamour of traditional black-tie with the breezy, natural surroundings of our garden venue. Ladies, feel free to wear gowns or Indian attire. Gentlemen, you may wear tuxedos or Indian attire. We want our guests to look and feel their best, like you are gracing the cover of Vogue magazine. This ceremony will take place outdoors.
Cocktail Hour
Guests can fellowship during cocktail hour as the wedding party takes photos. Have light bites and cocktails while mingling with family and friends.
Reception
An evening of dinner, dancing, and celebration to close out our wedding weekend. Join us for a night you won't forget — with great food, open bar, and plenty of time on the dance floor.
Attire
Dress Code
We'd love for guests to wear Indian clothes to the Baraat and Hindu wedding ceremony on Friday. On Saturday for the Christian wedding and reception, dress in black-tie attire. Think elegant resort wear — flowing gowns, tuxes, or Indian clothes. Please avoid white and ivory. Both ceremonies are outdoors, but dinner and the reception will be indoors.

A Note on Timing
Both wedding ceremonies will start on time. We recommend arriving at each event at least 20-30 minutes minutes early to find a seat. Entry into the wedding ceremonies will end 5 minutes before the scheduled start. If you are late, we will miss you but will see you at the next event of the day.
